This very elegantly designed and yet very affordable bed and breakfast guest room is in the heart of Amsterdam, a few minutes walk from central station. It has been recently renovated to the highest standard. It combines the classical elements of the original 1645 building with some stylish contemporary pieces and is outstanding value for money. The B&B is located on Nieumarkt Square and overlooks the old city gate of Amsterdam (built in 1488), the Sint Anthonispoort, now known as De Waag. As well as historical monuments, the B&B is surrounded by a vibrant residential quarter with bars, restaurants and outdoor cafés. It's equally as close to Rembrandt House as it is to the Dam square and red light district.

The room itself can have two single beds or a double bed so great for couples or friends. A baby cot is also available making is ideal for a small family too. The bathroom is located separately and is not shared with other guests, only the owners who gie priority to guests of course. There is a TV and DVD player (on request) in the room as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is included in the price and so is 5% tourist tax. There is also a hair dryer and iron plus a security safe to keep your valuables in when you are out.
