A rather unique and stylishly designed boutique studio apartment room in the heart of Amsterdam a few minutes walk from central station. It is located in a B&B on Nieumarkt Square and overlooks the old city gate of Amsterdam (built in 1488), the Sint Anthonispoort, now known as De Waag. As well as historical monuments, the place is surrounded by a vibrant residential quarter with bars, restaurants and outdoor cafes. It's equally as close to Rembrandt House as it is to the Dam square and red light district.

The studio as been recently renovated to the highest standard. It combines the original features of the original Dutch 1645 building with a few contemporary cues.

It can have two single beds or a double bed plus two lounging-divans on the mezzanine. This makes it great for couples or friends plus a baby cot is also available so it's ideal for a family holiday too. There is a TV and DVD player (on request) in the room as well asa kitchette tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is included in the price and so is the 5% tourist tax. There is also a hair dryer and iron plus a security safe to keep your valuables in when you are out.
