*NEW* This beautiful, traditional style houseboat B&B is moored on the northern side of Jordaan at the 'Westerdok' so it's ideally positioned. It's only 10 minutes walk to central station or to the city centre and a few minutes from trendy Jordaan with it's lovely cafés, vibrant markets and picture postcard canals.

The houseboat, built in 1903 was originally a clipper barge, and was lovingly restored in 2010 in to a comfortable B&B with many of the original features such as the wooden panelling. You will be staying in what used to be the 'Captains Cabin' which is very spacious at 20 meters squared. There's a wardrobe for your clothes, a large comfortable double bed and a small kitchenette with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom has a modern shower, sink and toilet.  As mentioned the room retains the original woodwork which dates back to the 1910's. However, all the facilities are of course very modern and it's well insulated with central heating in all the rooms so it's always warm.

Breakfast is available for €7.50 per person and there's also a supermarket only 5 minutes away and so is bike rental, which is the best way to explore Amsterdam. Eating out is easy too with many gorgeous restaurants only moments away in Jordaan, which your hosts can recommend you. You'll also find beautiful canals there along with Anne Frank house and, slightly further in to Amsterdam, the main museums, such as the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. 

All in all, this is unbeatable for comfort, style, location and value. Perfect for a romantic weekend away or a relaxing holiday.
