The apartment is located on The „Fichtestraße“-Street, a peaceful cobbled stone street  with 5 very good restaurants (two of the Berlin Haute cuisine: Hartmann’s and Cochon Bourgeois). The street is right between the large park “Hasenheide” (with an open air cinema) and the canal “Landwehrkanal” (both 5 minute walk). A bus stop is 3 minutes walk away, U-Bahn (Metro) Südstern, Schönleinstraße or Hermannplatz in 5 resp. 10 minutes walking. By underground it's only 10 minutes to Alexanderplatz where you can visit other main attractions such as the Museum Island and Brandenburger Gate.

The spacious open plan living room is the main feature. The fully-equipped kitchen also shares this space. It's furnished to the highest standards, with an extendable dining table. Large skylights (2m x 1,20 m) enlighten the room. On the other side is the “living room” on a leveled dormer, with a window front (1,50 m x 6 m) that can be opened completely. The majestic views of the old Lind tree, the garden and further big trees, gives it a feel of living a bit like in a tree house! The large windows ensure its cool even in high summer. There is no TV but there is a DVD player,  beamer and screen.

Washing machine and dryer are located in the cellar. The laundry can be dried there or in the garden.
