The room is part of a small shared apartment with a young friendly Berlin-based artist/photographer who can give helpful advice for where to go & what to do. He also prepares you a small breakfast in the mornings. The guest room is located on the border of the trendy and artistic area part of Berlin-Neukölln.

The 22sqm2 room has a warm atmosphere while still being modern and clear structured with a little Japanese touch. The apartment is on the 4th floor and features nice views of the plaza and church in front of it. Attached to the room is a balcony with afternoon/evening sun and radiant sunsets. Breakfast is served - on the balcony if weather allows! Worth mentioning is the newly opened „Tempelhofer Field“ which is just a block away from room. Being a former airport it is now Berlin’s newest attraction for recreation as the largest open space of the city. On Saturdays there is a very nice maket on the plaza in front of the house which is selling quality dairy products

You will be sleeping on 140cm x 200cm natural latex mattress placed on Japanese style tatami mats.  There is one small but functional bathroom with shower which is shared with the host. Clean bed-linen and towels are included and free wireless internet access is included. There is a hanger rail for your clothes and a small art book library + TV/DVD. There is no living room but a very small kitchen which is accessed through the hosts room can also be used if needed, but usually after breakfast most of the guests are out all day.

The nearest U-Bahn is  Boddinstrasse (U8) is just 3 minutes walk away. From there you can get to the centre of town without changing trains. Bikes can be rented from the host for 2 € per day as an alternative.
