This affordable apartment in Berlin Treptow is great for those on a budget. It's nice, clean and simple and 5 minutes to the bars and restaurants in Kreuzberg and the largest stretch of former Berlin Wall. It's a great value for a sole traveller or a couple with children looking for nice accommodation in Berlin for a few nights, up to 2 weeks.

The holiday apartment forms part of a building which is a large historic family home, once know as the 'Jazzcellar". The flat has an open plan lounge area with a kitchenette & bathroom with shower. The sleeping area can be curtained off from the living area giving extra privacy if needed. The sofa bed in the lounge is ideal for an additional 2 children to sleep on. It's a great place to stay if you have children because there are other families living in the building who all share the communal large garden so it might not be a quiet place all the time whilst they're playing! There is a sandpit, trampoline and swing in the garden.

Located in the former east so it's a fantastic place to explore the sites from. In fact it's very close to a former boarder guard post (see photos) and line of the wall can be traced on the ground. The monumental Soviet Memorial is within walkable distance as are the lively cafe's and restaurants on Schlesischesstrasse. In summer one of the nearby attractions is the Badeschiff, an open air sunken pool in the river Spree. Both bus and overground trains are nearby so it's ideal for getting into the historical centre quickly, which only takes around 15 minutes. As you can see from the map the the S-Bahn Treptower Park is moments away where you can reach Schönefeld airport in 35 minutes.

Families are very welcome here as well as sole travellers & couples looking to experience Berlin in a unique and great value way.
