The street is famous for its indoor market, multitude of restaurants, antique shops, street cafes & late bars. From Gneisenauerstrasse U-Bahn it takes about 10-15 minutes to all the main atttractions such as  Postdamer Platz, Friedrichstasse (Historical Centre) and Checkpoint Charlie. During the summer months why not hire bikes (bike hire on your street) and take a trip to the open air cinema which shows original language films in nearby Hasenheid park or maybe a stroll to Victoria Park to admire the views across Berlin.
