As well as 3 bedrooms, this bright and airy flat has a large living room. Situated on the second floor (no lift) of a well maintained block, there are masses of amenities on the doorstep – Chemist, off licence, Thai & Turkish restaurants, as well as a large shopping precinct with 2 large supermarkets, a hardware store, chemist etc. All mod cons are included such as dishwasher, washing machine, wi-fi, widescreen TV and DVD.
As well as nearby Hermanstrasse U-Bahn, there are also numerous bus stops outside the front door.
Bright, modern and great value. We love the fact that a family can afford to stay in a nice place in Berlin with enough space for a few kids. It's a very much loved apartment and the owners visit a few times a year.
Very comfortable, bright and rather quiet 3-bedroom apartment, with little balcony, fully equipped, with wi-fi internet, cable tv, washing machine, etc. Location: even though it is not the Mitte, there are U-bahn and S-bahn stations just around the corner (it gives you an easy access both to Alexanderplatz and to the Berlin-Schonefeld airport), as well as couple of supermarkets, variety of shops and countless cafeterias and kebab places around the spot, no problem with wandering around the neighborhood, even after dusk, easy-going, rather helpful owner, the best quality for the money, I’d say.
Disadvantages are also observed, but really only those two: no parking slot allocated to the apartment (you are forced to park at street and these are usually fully preoccupied by local dwellers), we could not find any good restaurant nearby; if you do not like kebab nor Asian food, you’d better go and eat in the downtown.

The area the apartment is in, isn't the best, but we always felt safe, as we do in the majority of Berlin. The local person who met us when we arrived and left was very friendly and helpful in accommodating our timings due to flights etc, including an early departure.
The only downsides we noticed were the dishwasher wasn't very good (the dinner plates didn't fit in it at all), and there are the loading bays for a supermarket behind the apartment that can be quite noisy at some very early hours.
All that said, I'd definitely recommend the accommodation for anyone looking for somewhere nice to stay at a reasonable price.

We stayed in this apartment when we came over to run the Berlin Marathon and were absolutely delighted when we walked through the door. Clean, VERY spacious and pretty much everything you could need. For the price, it was a steal. The area is a very multicultural and lots of shisha bars and very good looking restaurants although we generally stayed in and ate self catering in the evenings. Carb loading you see.....
Our host, Serpil met us and made the beds, sorted the deposit and showed us everything while we kept our 2 year old in control. Could n't ask for more. The only thing that was a shame is that we couldn't stay later on the day we left but completely understandable as others were due to stay there that day.
I love Berlin as a city and next time I come back, I will definitely look and see if this apartment is free before I book anywhere else.
