We love the street it's on. Knaackstrasse is where we used to live in Berlin and we have fond memories of going to Gagarin cafe every Sunday for brunch. When we took the photo's of the apartment we noticed how beautiful the parquet flooring is and how unexpectedly spacious it feels.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Berlin. The flat was quite spacious and comfortable and we adored the neighborhood. There were plenty of fantastic eating and drinking options just steps away and the whole area had a great, relaxed atmosphere to it. We didn't actually interact with the host during the stay, but she was very helpful leading up to it and the people we interacted with during check-in and check-out were equally great hosts. I would definitely rate our stay as a 5. Thanks again!

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The apartment is very attractive and well equipped. The location was brilliant for us, right in the hub of all the nice restaurants and stores, yet very quiet. The supermarket was 50 metres away so really convenient. Our hosts were great, attentive and helpful. I’d happily give them a 5/5 rating!

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment on Knaackstrasse very much, thank you. Prenzlauer Berg has always been our favourite neighbourhood in Berlin, and this feeling was reinforced during our stay there. The host was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautiful and we had a very good time. We have recommended the apartment to our friends, who asked us for Berlin tips.

It was a lovely apartment - airy and light. We loved the area in particular as it had a very friendly vibe and lots of great cafes and restaurants on the doorstep, without feeling too noisy. Our children are teenagers now, but for younger children this particular flat's location would be brilliant as it is right next to a lovely park with a great playground.
We never met the host but the collection and handover of keys process was smooth and the people involved friendly.
We loved Berlin and intend to return and would rate our stay overall as 5 out of 5.

I enjoyed this stay. Firstly, the flat was very comfortable, spacious and welcomed, it is situated a 5 minutes from the tram. Futhermore, the neighbourhood was very plaisant and enjoyable.  The host was helpful and kind.
There is only negative point: there is a restaurant in bottom of the flat and there is noise during the night, but it is bearable.

We liked the apartment very much. It was in a quiet neighbourhood with quirky shops and lots of restaurants, mostly parents and children, and the transport was only a few minutes walk away. It reminds me of Islington. The apartment itself was clean, felt spacious and light and it was nicely decorated. We got lots of practical information emailed to us by Britta as part of the arrangements. The host met up with us promptly at the start and end of our stay and we had no problems in between. Overall I would give it 5/5.

The booking process on Be My Guest was easy to follow, no glitches. The apartment is lovely and very well situated for people wanting to get a sense of living in a nice Berlin neighborhood. The host was very good and he answered all my questions promptly and hit a good balance between being professional and friendly. A person (who works for Be-my-guest?) was waiting for us at the apartment. The restaurants in Prenzlauerberg  are very good; the "1900" being one of our favorites, and there is a fun, lively atmosphere on Kollwitzplatz without it degenerating into raucus noise in the middle of the night.  The apartment itself is very spacious with a large bathtub and well equipped kitchen.  The owner was very pleasant to deal with, answering my notes immediately and offering us advice.  We had to leave the apartment before the end of our rental, and she refunded us some of our rent.  This was not required of her, but very appreciated by us.  We wouldn't hesitate returning to this apartment in the future. We had a really great time in Berlin, the apartment was lovely, clean and bright and I would definitely like to stay there again. It was well situated in a nice area to wander around in, and close to good transport routes too. The host was very nice to deal with through the email booking, and Marcus was friendly and informative when we picked up the keys. He also arrived when he said he would so we didn't have to wait. I would definitely recommend this apartment and the website.

Stayed for a long weekend in Berlin in November at Apartment Knaack and had a great time, lovely bohemian and friendly city.
The apartment was in a great location, quiet but clean and comfortable. This is not in a central tourist area, which suited us as it gave a feeling of being in a more residential part of the city, however there are numerous bars and restaurants to choose from throughout this area and the train station is a short walk away.
Overall I would recommend this as a place to stay if you're an independent traveller who wants a flavour of the real Berlin. Writing this makes me want to go back- I fell in love with Berlin and can't wait to return!
