Berlin - Tiergarten
The glorious Tiergarten or literally translated, animal park is one of Berlin’s largest parks and home to one of Europe’s most diverse zoos. It is also a popular location during the summer months to take a stroll in, sunbathe or to have a picnic and also has a very authentic bavarian style beer garden. It is also part of the historical centre encompasing the parliament building (Reichstag), the new government buildings and of course the Brandenberg Gate. It was recently made part of the central Berlin area, Mitte and borders Charlottenberg to the west.
