This Beautiful, quiet and bright studio flat (1 room flat) is small but wonderfully formed, perfect for a sole traveller or great for a couple.
It has a double bed and 1 sofa (not a sofa bed) which a child could sleep on. The room features a lovely extended kitchen area with space for seating for 2 people. The apartment faces the courtyard which is very peaceful and has a lovely view. It is only 100metres from the "Landwehkanal", Berlin's beautiful canal, which is where you'll find the local Turkish market, a real foody delight! The canal is also the place from where you can take a sightseeing boat from to explore Berlin. The flat is situated in the most happening area of Berlin, artists and creatives would enjoy its flair. There are many relaxed Berlin style cafes, bars & galleries in the street and the surrounding neighbourhood. The subway stop Schoenleinstrasse is 3 minutes walk away and you can reach the centre of the former east Berlin, Alexanderplatz in 10 minutes, and from there Schoenfeld or Tegel aiports. There is also a direct bus link from Schonefeld airport to Hermmanplatz which is a 10 minute walk to the apartment.
As the apartment does not have internet connection as such but comes with a Wi-fi-Stick instead. Rates are at cost (plus EUR 50 deposit). It"The stick is Aldi-Talk, so it can be topped up right on Kotbusser Damm, 5 minutes walk from the apartment. It's either EUR 2/day or EUR 15/month for the flatrate.
