Berlin Landmarks

Berlin is a photographer's dream with amazing architecture with
world famous buildings and iconic landmarks. Visit our selection
below and get a feel for all the 'must-see' places.

Templehof Airport (Venue), Kreuzberg

Famous as the West-Berlin life-line during the 1948/9 blockaide. No longer an airport, it's now an open space and venue for some great events such as the Berlin Festival and Bread & Butter.

Berlin Schönefeld Airport,

Located outside the city in Brandenberg. Soon to be renamed Berlin Brandenberg airport when the new facility is opened.

Berlin ICC (Messe) - Trade Hall, Charlottenburg

Berlin ExpoCenter City in Charlottenberg is where many of the major tradeshows take place. There is also a new venue by the new Brandenburg Airport, outside the city.

Alexanderplatz (TV Tower), Mitte

The huge square is a popular meeting place with great transport connections. There you’ll also find one of the most famous of landmarks in Berlin, the iconic 386m TV tower (Fernsehturm), affectionately know as the Telespargel (Tele-asparagus) because of its shape. It’s a ‘must-see’ for its views over Berlin on a clear day. Even if it's cloudy. it's still worth the effort just to experience the revolving cafe at the top!

East Side Gallery (Berlin Wall), Friedrichshain

Just across the Oberbaumbrücke bridge (made famous in the film Run Lola Run) stands the largest remaining section of the Berlin wall called the East Side Gallery. Saved by artists who’ve turned it into a canvas for their work and more recently in 2010 new artist murals have been commisioned which adorne the stretch.
